Briana blushed and then looked away.
Colin changed the subject, ignoring their exchange. "You did quite well today, Seth."
Seth noticed that Colin had called him by name instead of calling him simply "boy." He also thought that maybe he had earned a bit of Colin's respect today. Maybe the days of being known as "the boy" were behind him. One could only hope. But he knew their respect would have to be earned and it would take a while. Seth nodded with a smile in response.
"Do you think he will be ready in time for the tournament?" Briana asked Colin, curious.
Bryce laughed, and then Reese sent an arm flying into his midsection. Bryce gave a huff as air escaped his lungs. Then a moment later, Reese was on the ground.
