Rufus sent the message and waited for her to respond but no reply came. He started thinking about the time when he had bumped into her in the university library and saw the terrified expression on her face. He felt like protecting her. But when he saw that all the girls gathered around him were looking at her with jealousy, he knew that Lola would be in danger so he changed his expression, as though he loathed her sight and walked away.
But those beautiful eyes that she had hidden under those thick glasses, somehow attracted him towards her and he couldn’t forget her that easily.
