The ceremony was held in the lawn facing the lake, as the hotel was located in the outskirts of the city. So I had to walk all the way inside and go in search of Rufus. As the hotel belonged to his father, naturally we had a VIP room, so as soon as the lift opened on the fifth floor, I walked towards our room.
