It all began on one late noon of a rather breezy September - the tale of Ebenezer and Carol.

A Late September Noon is set in an urban but laid back city : Redwood Falls - a fictional place that is blessed with hundreds of Maple trees and some real gorgeous waterfalls.

The story is, for a greater portion woven around the protagonists, during their senior year at the High School. Rest assured, this is not another High School Love Story.

It is a tale where these two people are tested time and again by quite a few factors - the most important of them all : Time.

Just stick with me and let me take you through the ups and downs that these protagonists go through their lives, over the stretch of the years to come by.

Lay back and grab some hot chocolate as we walk through the intervals of years of these two destined souls.

Smile, laugh, cry and fall in love as they meet, separate, meet and repeat the cycle as they transition from acquaintances to childhood friends to teens and to adults.

__________________________________________________________

A Late September Noon is the first book in the Seasons of Love series. There will - in the times to come - be stories narrated, evolved and revolved around not just the main protagonists, but also the characters that surround them.

Excerpt
"Why?", she breathed - her eyes fixed on the nothingness spread before them. The Autumn breeze kept picking up - whistling and low-key howling - slithered a strange chill along their bones. Had he not been watching her as closely as he was, he would've never known she had asked something. "Why what, Carino?", he whispered gently, waiting for her to speak. Something. Anything. He wanted her to speak - even if he knew exactly what she meant by her why. Tilting his head towards her when she looked at him warily, "You'll have to be specific, Carino.", he smirked. "Why am I sexy? Why am I irresistible? Why am I -" "Why did your Mother drop you over your head? All the time?", she cut him with a mock seriousness. She'd be a fool if she'd think that he didn't know what she was asking. Ebenezer Perez is one of the most attentive, observant and mature people she has ever come across - at least amongst her age group. So, why despite her constant refusal, does he go beyond his ways and makes some real darn efforts? He could see the wheels turning in her head - so fast that he probably might not freak out if her ears would emit smoke any time soon. Biting back a smile, he leaned in, snapping her out of her thought express. "Coz, Carol Autumn Martin-", he breathed to her startled eyes as they widened upon hearing him call her by her real name. A smirk curved his lips at the spread of subtle flush of peach along her freckled cheeks, "-why the hell not?", he questioned right back before moving back with that all too familiar and famous grin.
