Chapter 2 Santiago Matis smiled patiently at his daughter, Valentina, who prattled on and on about how marrying Anthony Morgan was the best thing she might ever do. They’d chosen to sit on the restaurant balcony overlooking the Caribbean ocean, though the black lace covered table had a wide green umbrella to block the blazing heat of the evening.
