Trapped in a pack, no-this pack, was never my plan, being away from my own pack was also never the plan. I thought it would always be my home. I wanted to be the beta, not a Luna. I wanted my mate until Haiden ruined it for me and broke my trust. I accepted that I was going to be alone, yet here I am, tears swelled in my eyes as I try to think of an out to my horrible situation. All I wanted was revenge, and now I'm marked, and forever Nicholas' mate. Is this what I get for wanting to get back at Haiden?
"You can do whatever you want," Nico murmurs, his eyes hold no regret, but determination. He can't tell me that this wasn't his plan all along. "What I want, is something I can no longer have." I grit out, the hallowness in my chest swallows everything like a black hole.
