I get into the car, a little breathless and I pull the door shut, "We can go now," I reach for my seatbelt, but the car stays in it's position and Nico leans over, lifting my chin with his finger as I clip the buckle in. My eyes are wide, "What happened?" he asks, his eyes traveling over my face, searching for some sort of evidence. "Nothing," I shrug while pulling back, "I just want to go now." Nico's eyes narrow before he pulls back, sighing, "Did you say your goodbyes?" he starts the car. "I did."
And I gave Haiden the best goodbye ever.
