The pack's best warriors surround the car, and one knocks on the window, motioning to roll it down. "Don't," I warn Nico not to move as his hand reaches for the window controls. "Why not?" he doesn't move a muscle, careful not to spook the guards. "Because I got this," I snap, looking over the familiar faces and I open the car door. Three of them are at the door, pulling it open wider and they still when I get out. All of them step back, eyes wide and shocked expressions on their faces. "Emily, you're alive." Fred's eyes are almost popping out of their sockets.
