THE RISE OF EXILE 2

LEPER MIRK

Maddox can't believe that after so many years he will see Leper again. Maddox doesn't know what he should feel but he's nervous for no apparent reason.

As Leper gets closer and closer to Maddox, Ace can't take his eyes off Leper because of his peculiar appearance. Its eyes are like an abyss and it has no nose. There is a black thread sewn into its mouth and its skin is so pale that they all can see its dark blood streaked in its veins which is already very visible to the eye.

Leper."

The name of his twin barely came out of Maddox's mouth. Calib was stunned when Maddox called it Leper. It was as if he had heard that name somewhere else and that name was very familiar to him. He sensed and feel the danger in Leper's name as he tried to remember where he had heard its name.

Sumire, on the other hand, just stares at Leper and remembers that Maddox mentioned Leper's name on his 10th birthday. She clearly remembers that people didn't react like what Maddox said back then but she didn't give a care. It was not the lives of others that she intended to visit there but the command of her mother, Lunaire. Sumire looked across at Leper with eyes slightly squinted. This person is not normal and danger overwhelms his entire being. Four, on the other hand, narrowed his eyes in anger as he stared at Leper who was already standing next to Maddox.

"Why don't you introduce me to your friends Maddox?"

Leper asked in an unemotional tone to his twin who still couldn't hide the shock on his face because of his sudden appearance today. Leper stared into Maddox's eyes.

"Why are you here? What are you doing here?"

Maddox asked one question after another in confusion, his lips were parted in awe and then Leper turned his gaze to Sumire. Sumire slightly pulled her look back as she felt Leper was too close to her even though the truth was that the distance between them was too wide.

"To finish something you should have done a long time ago."

Leper's response made Maddox's eyes widen. 'What does he mean?' Calib, on the other hand, seems to have gotten what Leper meant. They were suddenly alert, especially since Leper had a strange look of Sumire with that great amount of killing intent. Its desire for violence can be seen in his eyes. Leper's insatiable bloodlust directed at Sumire alone.

"You should have hated her the moment you woke up but what did you do? Instead of hating her, you have fallen for her. You fell especially for her."

Leper added that Maddox could not speak, his gaze turned to the girl next to Calib, but Sumire just keep her gaze to Leper without being bothered him oozing with the thirst for her blood.

"And when you remembered everything, I assumed you were going to kill her but you caught your own attack. Ha! This is why I hate Seltens! Your unnecessary emotions will kill you."

Leper said by then the place began to shake again.

"If you can't kill her then I will."

Leper declared that before everyone could react, He immediately disappeared from their sight and the short-term earthquake also subsided after a short minute. They became even more alert and felt the surroundings where Leper might have appeared. Calib, Calyx, and Four quickly surrounded Sumire in the middle, even Ace and the others on Maddox's side did the same thing, protecting the lone woman among the top hunters of Exile. Maddox, on the other hand, could not move from his position, as if something was holding him back.

A few seconds later, five dark circles appeared on the floor that can fit and swallow a person inside. It moved everywhere without a pattern.

"Don't step on it."

Four warned that he seemed familiar with the dark infinite halo, he frowned. Everyone looked at him. Their eyes were asking as if waiting for an explanation. Four took a deep breath before answering.

"As far as I can remember, everything that has life is devoured by that holes. So don't step on the floor."

Four said. Everyone in the place quickly floated except for Maddox remained on the floor and the Dark Circles were just passing on his sight and moving in an unsynchronized manner like those halo intentionally avoided him.

"Do you know him?"

Calib asked Sumire, he deliberately covers her with his back, to hide Sumire from Leper's eye. His question was referring to Leper who was looking menacingly in front of them. Sumire just answers him with a shrug.

"I've only heard his name years ago but this is the first time I've seen him."

Sumire replied that Calib wondered why Leper was so angry with her. It’s not just ordinary anger, it’s deep and special. Calib thinks that this thing harbored deep hatred towards Sumire a long time ago. Calib tried even harder to remember where he had heard Leper's name. He thinks he knows it.

"Stop wasting your time for this woman."

Everyone couldn't move their feet as Leper appeared between Sumire and Calib. Sumire is slightly taken aback when Leper's face was too close to her and gave her a creepy smile. Calib would have blocked Sumire from Leper but he couldn't move his body as well as the rest. His head tilted on her right side and saw Four glaring at him.

"We meet again Four, how's your twin brother?"

Four, on the other hand, said that if he could just kill Leper with his gaze, Leper would have lost his breath earlier.

"Filthy bastard."

Four said angrily but still can't move his body. Leper released a dark aura around them that they immediately realized how strong it was. That even though there are many of them they are unlikely to defeat him nor inflict wounds on him.

"I am Maddox's twin brother."

Leper introduced himself to them, he then tapped Calib and Calyx on the shoulder, the two sorcerers fell to the floor and the Dark Circles would have devoured them when suddenly a white portal appeared above Leper's Dark Circle, and there the two of them fell, leaving no traces. Leper's eyes widened in surprise. Leper knew that the owner of that portal was not inside nor outside of Castellon De Vania. It is far away.

Leper tapped Ace, Calyx, and Four again, the same thing happened instead of being eaten by his dark circles, they fell on the white portal that suddenly appeared out of nowhere. Leaving Sumire alone in the midair. Leper's face twitches in anger when he can no longer sense their presence and darted his murderous look at her and smiled grimly at her.

"Then I'll just kill you right away."

Leper said dangerously to Sumire but before his hand could penetrate and grab Sumire's heart, a dark s***h had passed between him and the maiden that Sumire was slightly staggered when she saw that sudden dark flash with strong killing force struck down between the two of them.

Leper's eyes grew in size when his hand use to pull Sumire's heart out was suddenly cut off by an unknown oppressive force. He looks at his mutilated hand bleeding heavily.

"Who the f**k did that?"

The remaining Exile's hunters were also stunned, felt awe, and petrified on their place at what they saw. They couldn't explain what is going on around them.

Just as Leper's hand fell, Castellon De Vania split in two, divided the place at the same time. With that excessive and daunting amount of heavy and oppressive force, the place trembled from the blast and began to collapse.

The Exile Official heading inside the Castellon De Vania were shocked to see the place was split into two. They could feel the tremors overwhelming the entire area, and from where they stood, they immediately saw two people floating in the midair, one was sitting on the edge of a death scythe as if it was his chair and the other one was standing, carrying his death scythe looking formidable like a tyrannical ruler whose terrible reign was marked by unceasing violence looking down below forebodingly at the certain person.

"What the hell is going on?"
