After the bloody m******e of nearly half the population of modified Selten in Central Exile overnight, the grotesque scene of that sunrise marks the start of upcoming doom. The monster of the past will once awaken to sow terror of the Verminians. The death of Narco is not the ending but the beginning of the greater suffering of the Verminians and the resurrection of Cael signals a new phase of the chapter and the fate of humanity will once be tested. Wretched piles of distorted bodies, limbs rent apart, the Central Exile was bathed in blood, spread throughout the city. Sumire heaved at the sight, turned, and leaned against Calib, her eyes were dead calm and cold. Calib let Sumire rest on his shoulder as he watched the gruesome surrounding. He knows the maiden was upset, tired, and disappointed, it can be seen in her eyes. The glimpse of a sweet smile of Narco amongst the c*****e before disappearing right in front of her eyes made her restless. What happened in Exile spread quickly throughout Paristine. The reaction of the immortals was mixed and King Damon immediately summoned the 13 Heads of Paristine to the Forbidden Palace to discuss what had happened. Before Chaise and Lunaire went to Paristine, they first passed Sumire, Calib, Calyx, and Four who were in Castellon De Vania. The place was engulfed in gloominess, the sound of silence echoed in every corner of the hall that made the place pleasantly elegiac and lifeless. The couple could clearly see the misery on the faces of the four top hunters sitting in disarranged. No one speaks to them, they just sit there and think too deeply. They were not even aware of the couple entering the General's Hall where they were resting. "Sumire ..." Lunaire called softly the name of their daughter who immediately looked in her direction coldly. Sumire doesn't know whether to cry or get angry with her mother who tried to stop her from killing Narco who almost exterminate the people in Exile. She ignored the mother and avoided looking at her. Chaise, on the other hand, just sighed heavily, he knew that any minute his wife would cry. He immediately hugged his lachrymose wife when he noticed that her eyebrows, ears, nose, and the corners of her eyes reddened. Any moment his wife will soon burst into tears. "Don't add to the problem of what your child is thinking right now." Chaise whispered to Lunaire who was holding back her tears. Lunaire helplessly looked at her husband as if begging for him to talk to their daughter. "Wait for me outside." He added, Lunaire sadly nodded and came out immediately. "Two days from now Noir will come back to meet all of you. " Chaise's introduction that the four of them immediately looked at him. "I can't tell you the truth but Narco has a reason. I don't know anything about his plans but I'm confident he won't harm the Vex Verminians." He added that made Sumire frown. "How could you say that, Father? The East Exile is the remaining city left and half of Selten's are now gone. Noir is missing who doesn't seem to care about what's happening!" Sumire shouted that her voice echoed the place. Calib and the others remained silent as they don't want Sumire's angry turned to them. Her dark smoldering eyes embedded in hatred darted to her father. The maiden is now burning in rage. Chaise heaves a sigh. "Just wait-" "I can't f*****g wait anymore! I want to go crazy and destroy everything around! You have no idea how I feel right now! I also don't understand, you are the King of Exile and you are one of the 13 heads of Paristine but you did nothing! now you're going to say that Noir will be back and we'll just sitting our asses here waiting for him?! And Narco has a reason? I don't care about any of that s**t anymore!" Sumire uttered, yelling uncontrollably which made everyone in the room stunned. Chaise tried to approach and hold his daughter but the maiden avoided him. "I'm sorry." Chaise said in a low tone before leaving the General's Hall, disheartened. When he was finally out, his wife greeted him in lack of cheer. "I heard that." Lunaire said with her eyes slightly misty and sobbed. She met her husband on the last step of the staircase who has just answered her with a deep sigh. "She'll understand everything soon." Chaise replied and hugged her. The couple then left the Castellon De Vania and went to Paristine. ....... Dolos, who is still at Detroit Palace, doesn't know whether to rejoice with the news or be angry. It is a big loss to their plans of what happened in Exile especially since he had a plan with the Verminians there when they succeeded in ousting King Damon from the throne. Maddox, on the other hand, was very shocked and saddened by what they found out. They could not believe what they heard. They feel they have failed as a Hunter and ended up with nothing all they had worked for. Especially the plan they thought would be good for everyone. Inside the botanical garden, Maddox, Krauss, Rius, Ace, and Seven sitting oppositely to each other. No one utter even a single word. They remain silent for minutes, thinking about what to do. There were no other people there besides the five of them in the place. "Is it right for us to continue this?" Ace asked eagerly to return to Exile. Maddox sigh deeply and leaned on the table. "Narco is already dead according to the letter sent by Vexillum but Narco still has a connection to Dolos' plans. If their plan succeeds, I feel like they will lose a lot too. Narco is a f*****g curse himself." Maddox responded. Krauss, on the other hand, was deep in thought, reminiscing the first time he met Narco. He was only 4 years old and Narco was 3 when they met. Since then, he has not had a good impression of him and it only proves that Narco's intention to feed his parents with his Dark Shadow. Narco also tried to feed him to the Dark Shadow but King Damon caught up with them so Narco didn't succeed. Now, even though Narco was dead he still hadn’t lessened his hatred for him. He wanted to revive him and kill Narco again. "If King Damon can be overthrown successfully, the question is what will Dolos do after that? I don't feel good about what happens next." Rius replied. Maddox agreed, he had bad feelings towards Dolos. He feels that Dolos had planning something bad in Exile. His guts never fail him. "Why don't you just go back to Exile to help your top sorcerer comrades?" Creux said, suddenly butt in the place. They did not even notice his presence. It just pops up all of a sudden. The five of them quickly move from their seats, alerted. "Why did you say that?" Krauss asked. A mischievous grin formed on Creux's lips. "It's just my suggestion." Creux's smiling response alerted them. "Why? Aren't you on Dolos' side?" Seven asked made Creux stunned. "You're right but if you want to lose everything, then don't listen to me. It's really up to you right now. Ha.." Creux smiled before leaving in front of them, whistling, like nothing happened. They were left not knowing what to do. Dolos suddenly came to the place and confront them. They all sitting down properly on their seats and look in scrutiny at Dolos with a slight skepticism on their faces. "You can all go back to Exile first to help Vexillum. I'll just send you a letter when the plan starts." That's all Dolos said and it left in front of them. It didn't even wait for their answer. The five of them looked at each other and then started getting ready to return to Exile. To be continued...
