My dream university. I am finally here for my first class. This is the beginning of my journey to fulfil my grandma’s wish. The journey to become a doctor. I should be happy. I should be excited for my first day. But instead, I am scared and ashamed. Everyone’s looking at me. Can they see my black eye? What are they thinking about me? Am I going to get bullied for my appearance on the very first day?
Alex dropped me off right in front of the campus and told me that he would be waiting at the parking area until I called him to pick me up. To my surprise, Alistair had already booked a parking spot for me on the university for an entire year. I had no idea that he thought so far about my future without letting me know.
