I’ve always known Mason to be a smart boy but then and there, I began to question just how smart he was. He had growled at his Alpha! Looked him dead in the eyes and growled at him in challenge. Over what? Me? It was a very stupid thing to do. Mason was ripped, yes, I had noticed. After crushing on and ogling a guy for over three years, a girl notices these things. A girl also notices that the person he is growling at has two inches over his six feet two frame and blatantly more muscles. It also did not make sense since Dylan was his best friend and alpha. A beta never stands a chance against an alpha. They are the support system, not the challengers.  “Mason, stop that!” I couldn’t help but snap. He was asking to get killed and I was not going to stand there and watch him ruin himself.
