Chapter 10Martha was in denial. She was sure that the two warm drinks at the winter lodge had fought off the cold snap that sometimes wormed its way under her skin when she was around the snow too long without protective gear. When her throat started to hurt, she was sure that the Echinacea she’d taken the moment she was back at her place had warded off whatever impending illness was on its way.
