Wearing my full red-and-yellow spandex costume, I felt a little silly as I walked through the Academy campus. Perhaps that was a weird way to feel. I mean, it was a superhero school. You’d think that students walking around in superhero costumes would be the norm.
In fact, it wasn’t. Students were only allowed to wear their costumes under specific circumstances. For example, students could wear their costumes during training sessions at the Gym or if they wanted to test out a new piece of equipment they added or whatever. Occasionally, our Powers and Combat classes would require that we wear our costumes, usually whenever Sea Sister or Harden wanted us to get used to using our powers in our costumes.
