After he left for work, I laid in bed alone. I was tired because of the lovemaking last night, so, I kept drifting on and off from sleep. I slept for the rest of the morning. It was eleven in the morning when I finally decided to get out of bed.
I went to the bathroom for a shower the first thing. For a moment, I didn’t recognize my own reflection in the mirror. My body had drastically changed over the week. I looked and felt like an entirely different person. It was getting harder for me to believe day by day that I wasn’t a human anymore.
Even though I had the flesh of a human, under my skin resided a vicious monster. Each day, I felt her presence getting stronger and stronger. She was growing inside me and becoming a part of my personality. It wouldn’t be soon when I’d be her;
