-HER- I hear a distant ticking. It seems to be coming from a clock. It's accompanied by several other sounds. I hear a low dripping of water, the steady heartbeats of a person and their breaths. My nose picks up several scents in the room. The smell of medicine and gauze, phenyl, floor cleaner, room freshener and several other individual scents having their own traits as if they belong to people. Of them all, this particular scent happens to stand out the most. It's musky and reminds me of the woods. It's the most wonderful scent I've ever encountered. It's helping me to calm down but at the same time, lighting my insides with the desire to find out the source of the scent. I feel surrounded my warmth. I must be lying on my bed.
