I went inside the house to get my shoes. Unlike the three first castes, Kents, Eunis and Iberans had to walk to their destinations. Mom and I walked all the way to the Capital Town. Sometimes, we took the public buses if we were going too far or if we were working.  As soon as we got in the Capital Town, there were hundreds-- I meant, thousands of women submitting their application. By the time we got in the Eleta Capital Office, it was packed with young women holding their application forms.   I stood in the line and I could see a bunch of girls from Kents that I knew, standing in the line as well.
