12 REVELATIONSWhen Michael woke up, it was against his will, but he had two opposing sensations: his mouth was as dry as old leather and he was desperate to go to the loo. While in the bathroom, he brushed his teeth to get rid of the foul taste in his mouth, drank two glasses of water and washed his face, then he threw open the windows and got back under the sheet. The events of the night before began to return to mind, slowly at first and then in a flood. He groaned as he remembered asking whether they, some of the kindest people he had ever met, were aliens, and, even worse, whether they had abducted him.
