Need to talk to you

1238 Words
She ran to the living room, but she didn't find anyone there. "Has he gone to work? No, it's still early." She said to herself, looking up the stairs. "Should I go to his room?" She thought, but she remembered what brought her into trouble. He could kill her if she dared knock on his door. The nurse said as she walked down the stairs and walked towards her. "Ma'am, you need to come back to the room." "I'm sorry. I just need to see the Alpha real quick." She said, but the nurse wasn't ready to hear her out. She knew the consequences of what the doctor, who would soon be there, would do to her if they found the patient not receiving treatment. Amelia also wasn't ready to listen to her, causing the both of them to argue loudly with each other. "What the hell is going on here?" They both stopped immediately when they heard the stern voice and looked up to see him walking down the stairs with his assistant behind him. He was surprised to see her already up. He looked at her, examining her body for a moment, almost lost, before he got himself back together. "Why have you both suddenly turned my house into a market?" I'm sorry... Before the nurse could finish her words, Amelia quickly cut her off. "I came to apologize. I'm sorry about what happened last night. I was so stupid to enter your study room, despite it being forbidden. I won't ever make that mistake again. Please forgive me. Don't take me back to that dungeon, please," she begged. Tears ran out of her eyes, but Aiden was just looking at her before looking away immediately. For a second, he thought she was acting. He couldn't believe that a girl who looked like she would kill him if she got the chance yesterday was begging him now with tears in her eyes. But still, seeing the tears suddenly made his heart flustered, and he hated it. "Whatever," he said before moving to walk away, but stopped when he heard. "Does that mean you've forgiven me? I don't have to go back to the dungeon." Amelia asked. He wanted to ask her what made her think she had offended her, but he just left it and walked again when he heard again. "Actually, I have another thing to discuss with you." "What exactly do you want from me? When did the chit-chat start between us?" He asked, pissed that she was acting so weird that morning. Amelia knew he was surely going to act that way. She just wanted to try her luck. "I'm sorry." She said before turning away to leave, but stopped when she heard, "Talk. I hope its something that won't make my day worse than it's already going." Amelia's mood brightened. She couldn't believe what she had just heard. "Maybe this will be the perfect opportunity to tell him," she thought. She hurried back toward him. "Actually, I applied to a school before I came to this house." She watched his expression change to something she could describe as confusion, but still she continued without bothering about that. "And I need my phone to check the status of the admission." She waited for him to say something, but he was just staring at her as if he didn't understand. "Did he not understand me?" She thought. What I was... Before she could explain, he caught her off guard. "And what if you get accepted? You want to go to school?" "Yes." she replied with a low voice, looking deep into his eyes. "You sure do think highly of yourself, Omega. You're not going." He said, looking at her with no emotion before walking past her. Amelia was expecting him to say such, but she didn't expect him to say it as if he were the owner of her life. She found a rage building up in her, and her blue eyes were getting deeper. "Do you know how long I've been trying to apply to that school?! Do you think you can just treat me anyhow because I'm a weak omega?!" she screamed. Her voice took up the entire room, as if she had gone mad. Even Eric looked back at her in surprise. He never expected that kind of outburst from her, and he couldn't help but feel pity for the girl. Aiden looked back at her and blinked his eyes several times as he kept looking at her. He noticed that her blue eyes were deeper than before, but he wasn't bothered about that. The girl was looking at him with no fear in her eyes. "Has she finally gone mad?" He thought before clearing his throat. "You signed a contract, Omega, so don't ever question my authority again. I won't overlook it if you ever try this nonsense again." He noticed that her eyes had changed back. "And also get something to cover that neck of yours. You know what will happen to you if anyone finds out I'm mated to you." He said it with no emotion before turning to the maid behind her. "It seems to me she's fine already. Stop the treatment and leave." He and his assistant left the room, leaving only the two of them. The nurse also went upstairs to pack her bags in her room. She stood in the living room, wondering what had just happened. It felt like she wasn't herself when she spoke. She just suddenly felt anger and spoke to him without thinking, when she was supposed to be begging. And suddenly, she felt relaxed. "How am I supposed to persuade him now? What the hell is wrong with you, Amelia?" She kept hitting her forehead with her palm. *** He was still in the car on the way to work, but he still couldn't keep his mind off what had happened. When he couldn't bear it anymore, he turned to his assistant, who was in the driver's seat. "Eric, is there something you missed in the report you sent to me about that omega? I mean, has she been admitted to a psychiatric hospital before?" "No, sir. Nothing like that," Eric replied, looking at him through the rearview mirror. He had never seen his boss like that before, and neither does he understand why the omega suddenly seemed unaffected by what the omega could do to her. "Then what the hell is wrong with her?" He thought. He could still remember how her eyes had changed and how they first changed on the field, but he didn't bother about it then. He thought he would make her life so difficult to the point she would keep cursing her fate, but nothing like that was going on. Instead, she's unaffected, making him worry about unnecessary things. "Keep an eye on her." He said, to which Eric also nodded. "Yes, sir." Just then, his phone rang, and he looked at the caller. It was his mother, and she had been calling him since last night, asking about his health and saying that she would like to see him. He knew someone must have told her he got hurt while fighting the silver moon pack, and he suspected it must have been Jason. And no matter how he told her he was fine, she didn't believe him, and wanted to see him.
