Jamie's POV
He lets go of my waist and takes my hand, pulling me out of the office and down the hall. My heart is pounding in my chest while fear and anger roll through me. Cameron’s moving fast but I have no clue where to.
“Where are we going,” I ask with worry in my voice.
“I need to get you to the tunnels with the other women, and then I’m headed out to fight,” he says.
Women that have pups don’t fight in a pack but all the men do. I could fight since I don't have any pups and I'm not pregnant. But I know he won’t want that. Besides, a Luna protects the women and pups in most packs. That will be my job here today. To protect them.
He pulls me up to a door that looks like a closet, then opens it as Stella and Sage come running up
