Stone and Buck had expressed the desire to go visit their families back at Crimson Moon several months ago. I was happy when they got the time off of their patrol duties to do so. I personally wanted to go with them and see how Lex and Audrey were doing there.
Freddie and Willow had just gotten back from their honeymoon so I was leaving them and Meredith in charge of the pack while I went on this trip. I had Buck and Stone meet me at the packhouse so we could get in my truck and go to the airport. I had my overnight bag ready and my satchel with simple paperwork and my laptop.
