Freddies POV
It’s been a week since I got home from the hospital. I was healing but it was slow going. I still hadn’t heard or felt Beau’s voice in my head and I was worried. I wondered if I would ever hear him again. Would I ever be able to shift again? Had my wolf died and I survived somehow? That was impossible. All I could do was be patient and wait for him to re-emerge.
Willow barely let me out of her sight for this first week I was back at work. If I went to the packhouse she would take her computer and come along with me to sit with me in my office as she did her school work and watch me like a hawk. She was strict when it came to light work duties. If I tried to over do it she would get after me and practically drag me out of the office to go back home.
