I don’t know how I managed to make it home with my mate in heat, riding on my back but I did. I think it would have been in record time also if we had ever made that run back home before. The smell of her was driving me insane and I knew what needed to happen. I needed to claim her to make the fever go away and I needed to mate with her to help with the cramps that were plaguing her stomach. A she-wolf’s heat was a nasty thing for them to go through. It was even worse once they found their mate, making it impossible for the couple to be away from one another without being fully mated.
