Jamie’s POV
I fully expected him to try something when I came out of the bathroom with the way he rushed over to me. He instead apologized for his sister's actions at dinner. I loved the way he was thinking of me.
The way he outlined my lips and then gently kissed me made me want more. I wanted to keep kissing him. Instead, he led me to the bed. I thought for sure things would escalate with me in his bed, but to my surprise, he tucked me in and went to shower.
This man was different from what other she-wolves had talked about. He might be a big bad Alpha but with me, he’s sweet and thoughtful. Gentle and patient. He was stealing my heart with each action he made.
