Dexter POV
I was surprised and worried to see Angel’s name flash across my phone screen when I heard my phone ring. I quickly answered it with concern in my tone, but she was only calling to tell me that her mom wants Daniel and Adaline to come to dinner with me tomorrow. I was a little disappointed because I really want to spend some time with Angel and her family before blending our families, but I was still excited that I will get to meet her parents tomorrow.
“Dexter, my father wants to speak with you before we head out for school.” Adaline said in a small voice as she peaked her head in my room.
