Bryce's POV
"Never mind", she mutters after a moment of silence and buries her face in the pillow.
I chuckle lightly, finding her recent embarrassments amusing.
Maybe she is thinking I won't help out as she asks. I have no problem doing that because I am ready to do all it takes to make her happy and to get her forgiveness.
I will get her out but not today", I tell her.
"Really?" Her face lights up in excitement and surprise.
"Yes", I say with a smile. I have been extremely happy since she got here. I am happy for no reason that she is not only free but here with me, even though she is still cold. But I believe with time, she will come around. I am ready to wait till she is free with me again and I can ask her for forgiveness.
