Zayn wrapped his arms around me, “you mean what will WE do or say once she's up?” even though the gesture surprised me I couldn't help but relish in the protective feel of his arms. I almost sighed in contentment. The doctors had left the room and with the exception of Cindy, Zayn and I were alone. I rested my head on his chest and breathed in the smell of his cologne. God that was a delicious scent. “You don't have to do it you know, you don't have to see her,” I said without opening my eyes. “I'd never want for you to go through this alone Ami, we've both been through the same thing, perhaps you even more than me.
