“What are you?”
He never gave me a reply, Oak stared at me like I was a mad woman sticking her nose where it wasn’t supposed to be while I stood there still shocked at everything I'd witnessed. I never got a reply.
Instead, his usual polite expression went chilly, much like his skin.
He quickly regained his strength, unfortunately.
I had planned to dump him on the snow-covered floor and push through with my plans.
