After having that short conversation with Haji, I finally had the courage to come out of my room; and as soon as I did, the guards quickly followed me.
My eyebrows furrowed in confusion yet I still chose to ignore them and went out of my way to the field.
The moment I stepped out of the place, I was quickly met by the sunlight. I squinted my eyes as it hit my eyes but instead of getting mad, I was happy. The warmth hugged my body, heating it up. My lips curved up as happiness hit me.
I never imagined myself to enjoy this small, simple thing.
The sun didn’t speak but it has definitely cheered me up just by warming my whole body.
