Serena was allowed a new sense of self as she removed herself from embracing David just long enough to see Paolo storm away from her line of sight and into the hallway, where she followed him immediately. Although she was not exactly in the midst of a locking of lips with her presumed beau, the scene was intimate enough to say the least and appeared amorous to anyone looking at them from the outside. And as quickly as she attempted to blame Paolo for being so easily wounded when he held to stake in her, Serena knew if she were in those very shoes and witnessing that very scene, that she would be just as upset-if not moreso.
