Lewis Barclay held the sheet of paper and stared at it long enough to make Giselle feel nervous. What he held in his slim hands was the list of thesis subjects she had spent the last two days curating. And now, he was staring at it like it was not just five topics written on an otherwise empty paper.
He lowered the paper and looked at her. "You two have very similar topics. Is it intentional?"
Finally, something. "Yes, Professor. It is."
Barclay dropped the paper on the only desk in the seminar room. "It is completely fine. I'll allow it but no plagiarism. I want completely original work. Understood?"
