Chapter 4Starting at opposite ends and working toward each other over LuAnne’s tempting body, Jesse and Bud inevitably ended up face to face. Later Bud had to wonder if she’d set them up, but at the time he had nothing left for thought. Closing on either side of her belly-button, his hand and Jesse’s bumped together. He lifted his head from a teasing tongue-foray around the small neat indentation and found his face mere inches from Jesse’s. For a heartbeat or two they looked into each other’s eyes, once again, just inches apart.
It seemed the most natural thing in the world to close the slight distance and seal his lips to Jesse’s.
