Three months after…
“Hi, Honey! How’s your day?” She snaked her arms around my waist and tiptoed to give me a peck on my lips.
“The same as usual. How’s yours?” I replied back while I curled my own arms around her waist.
“Well, your mom gave me this recipe. She said it was easy to prepare, so that’s what I made for dinner. I made salad, roasted chicken and veggies. We also have brownies for dessert. Made it with Becky today. Anyway, dinner will be ready for about ten minutes. How about you freshen up first?”
“Wow, that’s great, Jan! Good thing ‘coz I’m starving already.” I give her a swift kiss on the lips before I went to our bedroom and get showered.
