Christian stood glued to the same spot, watching the retreating back of the woman who was the mother of his child. A child that he did not know existed for the past three years. Gritting his teeth, he walked to his desk, sat and turned his chair to face the window. Pain pierced his heart, an emotion he had guided himself not to ever feel. If only he could go back, and do everything differently, maybe-just maybe-things could have been different. But that was not possible and what transpired can never be changed. Curling his fingers into a fist he closed his eyes and took in a deep breath. He had to move cautiously. There were still things that were still unresolved from the past, and if he did not deal with them, he was going to put both Natalia and his son in danger.  Taking a deep breath
