I was in Ironside on a business trip, we were making our treaties strong and hoping to have great allies among the shifters, King Silas is a great King. I was surprised that he left so soon after his wife gave birth to their son but he did make a promise to Princess Jade and things were getting out of hand with the species, we were on the brink of Civil War due to the fact everyone wanted a taste of that Supreme Throne. I spent almost two weeks here and I had Clive with me, they think he is one of my advisors but this was the only way I could be with him without raising an alarm. I woke up in an icy cave, I could feel the magic soaring through me, I had finally finished my transformation, I was now King and the last of my species. I don't know why we were killed but I will find out why and have King Willix's head on a platter, I will avenge my family and my people. I walked out of the cave and to clean myself, I found a wild animal and I am currently roasting it before I head into Volterra and plot my revenge. I need to learn everything about the current Royals, find out why they slaughtered us, and for what purpose. It took me a day and a half on foot walking to the inner part of Volterra, the townspeople were going on about their merry way, I saw some chanting spells and others continued with the business. I needed to find a place to stay when I saw an inn that had up a sign 'Help Wanted' so I walked in.
Two days later, I was helping with most chores and cleaning the stables for the horses, I had a small room and it paid well, it was enough to keep my disguise hidden as I held my aura in to be a low-level warlock. I hid my seer marks and the owner loved that I was so helpful, she had a daughter, Geneva, who I could tell had a crush on me but it was harmless. I decided to go on my lunch break and sat by a tree near the stables when Geneva came over to me and we ate together, I could see the Palace and asked her about the Royals. She told me the basics and how the people love King Willix and Queen Marion, she even talked to me about the most talked about gossip in Volterra at one point. The love affair Marion had with her Head Guard, turned out to be just a rumor and I smiled. Marion's name sounded sweet to me, I even dreamt about what she looked like since I never got to meet her and if she was indeed a good Queen as they say.
However, I knew I had a job to do before I felt Geneva lean over kissing me, I kissed back but stopped her and we went back to work. Geneva showed me a lot of things that I needed to do and as my shift was about to be over, she promised to come to me later and I smiled. Later as the Inn closed, she came to me, I didn't know what to expect as it would be my first time but she taught me a thing or two, we ended up dating each other as I learned more and more about the Royals. I secretly trained my powers and soon I will start having my visions once I am strong enough but in the meantime, I will wait until it is time to lay out my plans. Willix was my target and I wanted him to pay for what he did but first, I would take his Queen away from him before I ended him.
