"Did you finish your work?" Rahi asked softly
"Not yet."
"So you had work today?" Rahi asked again, still softly.
"You come first. Work can wait," Anant replied in a simple and low voice. Rahi blushed at his words.
Rahi was amazed that Anant had taken her complaint seriously, even though she had made it while she was drunk. She realized that Anant genuinely wanted to spend time with her, but had been keeping his distance due to her hesitation and anger. Anant didn't want to upset her, but hearing her words yesterday made him realize that her feelings towards him had changed. Now Rahi also desired to go out with Anant, spend time together, have meaningful conversations, and be close to him. It brought Anant great joy to know that he had found a place in Rahi's heart.
