After that fantastic breakfast, Charles kicked Theo and David out. We had agreed to meet them at 11:30 to go out to lunch on our way to the governor’s office. Once the door between our apartments was shut, Charles gave a playful growl and pounced on me, pulling me close.  “Let’s see how much of the list we can get through in the next hour and a half.
