One week later
“Semi, hurry up, Mr. Droviski wants to see you” Semi turned her attention to the intern who was frantically calling her.
“What?” Semi asked the young intern once more. The young man seemed impatient with her but he decided to repeat what he had told Semi a few seconds ago.
“I said Mr. Droviski wants to see you” the young intern repeated. Semi stood frozen on the spot, for the past week Neil had stayed away from work, often opting to work at his tech company than to be around Semi.
She could not explain the warm feeling that she felt inside her stomach, working in his office without Neil had been lonely and she dreading every working day without him. Without realizing it, Semi fixed herself up as she walked towards Neil’s office.
