“We are really thankful Ryan. You have no idea what that company meant to us. We could have lost our house too in the process but you helped us,” Mum began midway through dinner.
Ryan placed his palm over mine on the table and I instantly met his smiling gaze. I was still reeling from what had transpired from our fight but the last thing I needed, was my parents worrying about me. It’s all they ever do and for the first time I needed to handle my own life.
