No one was so close to Violet as I was at that night when I jumped over her in fear due to those stupid kids’ pranks. They scared s**t out of me that night. I didn’t know why they were still her favourite kids. They were really scary and untrustworthy. She held me tightly in her embrace on her lap. I was so ashamed but later I realized how soft she was.
