AFTER having lunch at the hotel, we headed to the mall. Ram led me to a nice store that sells women’s clothes and apparel. He said earlier that we're just going to buy some br*s since the ones I have been wearing are too tight for me. The doctor said that too earlier.
As soon as he entered the store, the crew greeted him by name. He must have brought his wife here before. Afterwards, he sat down on the sofa and said:
Ram: “Go ahead and find some dresses that you like. Get some skirts and tops as well.”
I just stood in front of him while hesitating. This is one of the stores I try to avoid because I can't afford the items that they sell here. Ram must have sensed my hesitation.
Ram: “What’s wrong?”
Denise: “Uhm, can we go somewhere else? I can’t afford what they sell here.”
Ram: “Don’
