I was waiting for Damien to arrive anxiously. I messed up my chance with Jamie, so this was my punishment, but I didn’t mind staying behind if in the end she would be ours and she would forgive me. All I need is a chance to prove myself. I will try not to act too quickly out of jealousy in the future. It will be hard, but I need to hold my temper if I want to win her over.
We are at a disadvantage if it comes to our mate since she doesn’t feel the mate bond like we do. She is attracted to us, but the pull doesn’t affect her as much as it does Damien and I.
