“You’re still up?” I was sitting in my office, the sunlight streaming through the windows, though the UV rays couldn’t penetrate. Enzo had found me there, dressed only in sweatpants. I was surprised to see him up as well.
“So are you,” I replied.
He smiled a little.
“Got someone with you?” I inquired.
He nodded, and I realized why he was up.
“You do too,” he said.
“An annoying little hybrid who’s set on making me hate her,” I told him, tapping a finger against my desk.
