Amber didn’t wake up until a few hours later, but I didn’t mind sitting here and watching over her. No one bothered us, knowing I needed this time with her. Thanks to the bond between us, it gave us strength too, and being close to each other could help us heal faster. However, I felt glad to see her wake up. She, on the other hand, was not so happy to see me so close to her. She quickly backed away, so I couldn’t touch her anymore.
“What are you doing?” she inquired.
