CHAPTER III CYPRUS The wind was with the small fleet as they sailed from the island city of Tyre. Captain Uttar commanded the vessel with ease, although seven years had passed since he was last at sea. Their craft set pace for the others, and Uttar ordered long easy strokes on the oars until the sails overtook them. Elissa looked steadfastly ahead, while Anna stole glimpses over the stern of her rapidly receding world.
