WAHAAJ’S POV:
I woke up with the decision to tell Mom and Ayyan of the marriage
. I called Ayyan.
“Have breakfast at my place today.” I ordered through the phone and he agreed.
As soon as I got ready and went downstairs, I saw Ayyan there already.
I greeted Mom and Ayyan and took my seat at the table.
“I wanted to tell you something important.” I started and grabbed their attention.
“She agreed and the nikah will take place tomorrow.” I said.
“Who agreed? What agreed? What are you talking about, bro?” Ayyan said in confusion.
“The girl has agreed and I’m getting married tomorrow.” I said.
“I knew it! This is why you were asking for Mr. Faheem’s file, right?” Ayyan asked.
“Yes. Before you get confused, I’m marrying Abeera. The younger one and I want you to handle all the arrangements.” I told Ayyan.
“Of course.” Ayyan said and began eating with a big smile on his face. Mom, who was silet throughout, also looked really happy.
Ayyan and I soon left for office together.
“Why are you marrying her?” Ayyan asked me suddenly.
“Why can’t I marry her?” I retorted but then decided to tell him. “She insulted me and she has to pay.”
“I won’t try to stop you. It doesn’t matter what you say. I can see affection for her in your eyes.” He said.
“There is nothing of that sort.” I denied immediately.
“Whatever floats your boat.” He smirked.
----------
Today is my nikah. Only family and close friends are invited. Mr. Faheem asked me to always take care of their daughter. I was speechless as I was only marrying their daughter for revenge.
ABEERA’S POV:
Today was my nikah.I don’t know what to feel and whom to blame. I saw all the women leaving the room and Mr. Monster entering.
WAHAAJ’S POV:
After nikah, I was asked to go and see Abeera. When I entered the room, everyone but Abeera left the room. She was sitting on the sofa, looking pure and beautiful with the white dress and red scarf she had draped on her head. When she looked up at me, I saw that her eyes, nose and cheeks red due to the result of crying. Another fact was that her eyes were blazing fire.
(Imagine a red dupatta [scarf] on her head)
I didn’t realize that I was walking towards her until she turned her head away from me. I always seemed to be attracted towards her this way. The thought of this little girl having this much power on me made me super angry. I decided to leave the room.
A while later, we headed to my place. Along the way, Abeera kept crying and I had to stop myself from consoling her. Mom took her to my room and I went to spend time with Ayyan.
When I later entered the room, i saw her standing by the window. I hadn’t had a clue as to what I was expecting. When she saw me, she moved towards me.
“You have take your revenge by destroying my life. Now let me go, I have no wish to live with you.” She spat.
Her rejection hurt me more than I expected.
“Not so soon. You’re never leaving me. Happy marriage to the Devil.” I smirked.
ABEERA’S POV:
I saw him lay down on the bed. I didn’t know what to do as I really didn’t want to sleep beside him.
“Just sleep on the bed. I won’t touch you. Yet.” He said and I didn’t fail to catch the whispered end.
I was really tired, so I decided to sleep on the bed. It was big enough for 4 people to sleep on it without touching each other.
