Mika's pov
On our way home, I noticed that Cole was mostly silent.
"Are you okay? You have been silent since we left your parents house."
"Ya, I'm okay." He said but he seemed to be off.
I decide to let it go. The ride was pretty silent until we reached at the house. Since he was acting up I figured things would be like before, so I opened the door and exited the car. I got whatever I could carry and turned to walk into the house. Only I bumped into a chest, I avoided his eyes and just stepped to the side and walked into the house.
"That was a long picnic." Maria said smiling when I walked into the kitchen.
I giggled. "It was but, we went for dinner at the in laws home."
"Ohhh. That's nice. I hope you had fun. Would you like me to prepare anything for you?"
