The Little Temptation of the Lycan

Thalia I looked at the little note with a surprised expression and "Is this... is this true?" I still couldn't believe it. "Yes, I'm pretty sure. Thalia, you're two months pregnant" Alice said with a huge smile on her face as she pointed out a couple of medicines to me. I looked at her without even listening to her words. Was it a joke of the world? "How could you not smell your puppy?" Alice said with a smirk on her lips. Her sudden question snapped me out of my trance and I shook my head "I don't know, I have been too busy with the pack". "Don't worry, maybe in a couple of days you will be able to smell it" she said with a smile. At her response, I smiled and felt a surge of excitement run through my body. *** I am Thalia Rivers, Luna of the Midnight Waves pack, the most powerful pack of shifters. Any girl would desire my position, after all, I did manage to marry the love of my life, the alpha Jared, however, he is not my destined material. Still, I've done everything in my power to be the perfect moon, but the council elders and the alpha family demand an heir. Unfortunately, I had been trying to get pregnant for three years without success. On the other hand, alpha Jared had been estranged from me for two years; we used to see each other two or three times a week and sleep together, but being the alpha of the pack, he was always very busy. As I wandered in my thoughts, an idea occurred to me. I immediately turned to Alice and sighed. "Alice, can you keep it a secret? I don't want anyone to know about my pregnancy" I said looking into her eyes. She looked at me with an intrigued expression and then nodded smiling "Don't worry, Luna. I won't tell anyone". After that, I took the prescription, my ultrasound and left the hospital. On the way to the mansion I couldn't stop thinking about the puppy that was now in my belly. After a few minutes, I arrived at the mansion and ran straight to the kitchen. "Oh my gosh, it smells delicious!" I heard Daisy's voice, who looked at me with a smile on her lips. "Do you think that's enough food?" I asked as I finished preparing the cheese tartlets. "What, are you planning a feast? It's more than enough!" she said stealing one of the chocolate biscuits. "I just make all of Jared's favorite food. Today marks another year together," I said. "Today?" she said, intrigued. "Yes? Why?" I asked intrigued. "I... I heard Alpha had to attend to an emergency, I don't think he'll be back today," she said with a frown. When I heard that, my movements stopped and I looked at her in surprise. The reality was that Jared wasn't very communicative, he wasn't telling me about his plans in the pack. "Maybe he'll be back in the morning, I'll wait for him," I said once more. Daisy looked at me intrigued as she let out a heavy sigh. In fact, not only was she my best friend, but she was the first person to approach me when I first came to this pack as a simple refugee. She was kind, attentive, although sometimes she acted a bit strange and used to disappear. As I thought about that, I said goodbye and looked at the clock on the wall in silence. I was so excited to tell Jared about our puppy, so I finished cooking his favorite dishes and went upstairs for a shower. After the shower I put on a lace dress with low heels. I also made a beautiful envelope with the ultrasound and a note for my husband. However, several hours had passed, and Jared had not arrived. I paced around the room, until finally a whiff of expensive perfume hit my nostrils. My heart began to pound and a wave of shock swept through my body. I quickly fixed my hair and adjusted the hem of my dress as I looked at the door and stepped out into the hallway. "My love..." I said when I saw him standing there with his subdued expression. Jared was 6'4’, with dark hair, green eyes, and a muscular body. His attractiveness was more than any girl could wish for, and I was falling more in love with him every day. "How was your day?" I asked running to greet him. However, he made a gesture with his hands and stopped me. I looked at a folder in his hand, so I guessed that he was very exhausted from so much work. "Don't come closer, I'm dirty" he said with a grimace of disinterest. As soon as that happened, my eyes widened in surprise. Dirty? I could even smell his perfume, how could he say that? I didn't even think anymore, as I helped him take off his coat and smiled at him "I've prepared dinner for you, do you want me to...?". I hadn't even finished speaking when he stopped me "I'm not hungry" he said dryly. "All right, do you want to take a shower?" I asked innocently. "No, let's go to the hall, I have to tell you something," he said coldly. I nodded as I followed him up the stairs to the hall. His broad back and firm steps gave him away: he was a god. As soon as we reached the foyer, however, the smell of food wafted into our nostrils. "Why does it smell like so much food?" he asked with a raised eyebrow. "Do you forget? Today is our anniversary, I had planned a surprise for both of us..." I said before he interrupted me. "I haven't forgotten. I've been waiting for this day for a long time" he added, sitting down on one of the sofas. I nodded and walked over to the second sofa, still holding the small envelope of my ultrasound in my hands. In fact, I didn't know what garden he was upset about because I hadn't been able to give him an heir, so I knew the news would make him very happy. "I..." I said before he intervened. "Let's get this over with...Thalia..." "Wait a minute, Jared... First me. I have something important to tell you too..." I said with a pause to detail his expression. He looked at me with a cold expression as if his next words were only going to hurt me. However, I quickly raised the envelope and handed it to him full of emotion. "It's for you" I said with a huge smile on my lips. Please open it" I said with my eyes wide open. He opens the envelope and reads it slowly. His eyes seemed still "What is it...". I didn't even let him speak when I intervened honey, I'm pregnant! We're having a puppy!" I said jumping up and down with excitement and ran to him to hug him. He stood still with it still in his hands "Thalía, is this real? Is this a trick to hold me back?" He said, making my body recoil. "Yes, it is completely real. The moon goddess has blessed us with a baby. Aren't you happy?" I asked wanting to place my hand on his cheek. No, no, damn it, this is it! This s**t can't be true. Why the f**k is this happening now?" he shouted hitting the small table next to him. I gasped and looked at him with my eyes wide open "Baby... what... what's wrong?" I asked looking at him in panic. His alpha aura spread throughout the room "Who else knows about this?" he asked making my eyes widen in surprise. "Nobody...nobody knows...I wanted you to be the first to know...I thought you'd be happy. Love we're having a baby! You won't have to worry about the heir of the herd anymore" I said still smiling. "I... I still can't believe it. I'm sorry, it's unbelievable" he said lowering his expression. I wanted to kiss him and have him make me his but in a second his hand grabbed my neck. He was acting so rough that a wave of pain went through my chest. We stayed like that until he finally let go of my neck and pulled back "Let's walk a bit, I have a surprise for you" he said with a lustful look on his face. "Let's run" he said as he took off his clothes. I looked at him dumbfounded detailing his muscular and addictive body. I didn't say anything before I let my white furred, black eyed wolf out. In fact, only Jared had seen my wolf after all it was a secret I had to keep. Soon he brought out his wolf and we ran through the forest like two lovers. I wanted to play with him, but he ran as fast as he could to the border. I didn't even ask where we were going, I just followed him completely lost in my excitement. After almost 20 minutes of running, he stopped in a remote and unknown place. In fact I had never been to this part of the outside before. Jared stopped and turned me back into a human. The place was f*****g beautiful, there was a cliff overlooking the whole herd and the dark forest. "Honey, where are we? Do these lands belong to another pack?" I asked completely naked. I tried to look into the trees to see if there were any clothes hidden but before I turned around, everything happened in slow motion. Jared ran towards me still in his wolf form. "Jared... what are you... ahhh! Nooo!" I screamed as I felt his claws digging into my belly. Suddenly a warm liquid was felt on my thigh and my body. I quickly pulled back feeling how his claws were coming out of my skin. I tried to run by placing my hand on the wound But the pain was too strong. I didn't even want to become a wolf, I had lost too much blood. A loud growl was suddenly heard as he turned back to me and buried his claws in my side again. My body fell into the sky as my aodgeoi fell one after another. "What are you doing... Jared...why...why are you doing this? our baby.." I said as he suddenly jumped on my body and pinned me to the ground. His sharp teeth dug into my right thigh making me scream out in pain. I tried to kick him but he was stronger. My hands were on my belly trying to save my puppy. "Help! Please! Somebody help me!" I shouted crawling, but he ripped my face with his sharp claws. I don't know what was happening, but the agony was completely unbearable "Please... my baby... don't!"
