Jordan's P.O.V. I woke to the sound of a lawn mower next door. Getting up, I saw Joshua sprawled on his bed, sound asleep. He looked funny with his mouth slightly open and messy dark hair. He had a girlfriend back in New York, but she dumped him for his best friend during their senior year. Who does that? He was always so kind and loving to her. I stretched, brushed my teeth, and made breakfast since my mother obviously wouldn’t be doing it. “What should I make?” I muttered, eyeing the pancake mix, bread for toast, and eggs. I decided on pancakes, toast, and scrambled eggs. Just then, there was a knock at the front door.
