Chapter 15 Kegan’s world was thrown into chaos. Before he knew it, campus security had swooped in and Jenny had herded everyone into the end lounge while all of the rooms on the floor were checked. By the late afternoon, Kegan stumbled down the hallway with Dean, his body tense in case Griffin attacked. The elevator dinged and the door opened, sending the officers ready for a fight, but it was only Randall. “We’re closing this floor off,” one of them said. “Then close it off with me on it,” Randall stated. “I need to check on my friend.” Kegan pushed past people and Randall gave him a tight hug. “You okay?” “Better now.” “He’s fine,” Jenny told the officers. “Thanks,” Kegan said as they entered the lounge. Everyone whispered to each other and no one seemed to know what was going on.
